PictureRetitle is a renaming tool specifically designed to rename individual picture files.
The key feature is the dictionary technology. This makes it possible to re-use all words and, even more important, all fragments of titles of picture files you renamed in the past.
To make a dictionary:press the Make Dictionary button and select a folder that contains picture titles with words/fragments likely to be re-used.
Having no previously renamed picture files to put in the dictionary, does not make much of a difference. Every new title you supply, is immediately added to the dictionaryand thus instantly available.
Apart from this you can select and format title elements to be used for all selected pictures to be renamed.
Available elements: Prefix, suffix, counter, date and time. The counter can be extracted from the original file name. Date and time can be extracted from available exif information.
You can preview the new titles before you start the actual renaming process.
Other features:- View image in full screen.- Support of sound annotation files.- Stop and resume a rename session for a given folder: all information you entered is automatically saved. You can even rename pictures of a different folder in between.- Find/Replace function. |
