About CD Czar, Organizes your entire music collection, including vinyl, CD-R, MP3 etc. Quickly browse, order and search artists, albums, tracks (songs) and more! Use filters to display only selected albums (for example, one or more genre and/or artist). Connects to the internet Freedb database to automatically enter information about the CD currently in your CD-ROM drive, including album, artist, genre, and tracks.Albums that are not in Freedb's database (or are on MP3 or other audio files, or on cassette orother format that can't be read by the CD-ROM drive), can probably still be entered without typingin the tracks by using the other online music databases to which CD Czar also links, or you can import a Winamp playlist. You could use Cd Czar to manage, for example, a vinyl LP collection or MP3 files on your hard drive.Conveniently keeps track of music copied from CD to other media, and the MediaList report in the Report Writer shows how much time has been used on rewritable music mixes.You can enter the Purchase Cost and Current Value for each album, and obtain the total valuation of your Collection in a Report.Albums can be viewed in order of any of the fields in the Albums grid by simply clicking on that field's header (including Label/Directory field so that you can see which albumsyou have included on your CD-R, Minidisc etc. or as audio files on your hard drive). The current sort order's header is highlighted. Clicking on the header that is already highlighted will skip to the next unique value for that field, useful for skipping through artists or genres.One Stop Artist Search shows all albums for any particular artist, whether on a solo album or multi-artist compilation.Flexible Report Writer can also generate a HTML webpage or export in CSV or XML format.
