Bandwidth Vista is a bandwidth meter that includes several useful features to track your internet usage and to check for common problems. It monitors all network interfaces and maintains daily, weekly, monthly and yearly logs for upload and download activity. The program can also alert you if your bandwidth exceeds a certain value within a user defined period (min, hour, days). The alert can be sent by email, pop-up or sound. Bandwidth Vista offers a real-time bandwidth graph that can optionallyindicate the origin of the connections on a world map display, and includes a dynamic tray icon that indicates current network activity. Despite the nice set of features, we found the interface to berather sluggish and slow responding, and it crashed every time we rebooted. |
