Web Image Protector enables you to protect your website images from being easily saved or harvestedby users. It modifies the HTML source and splits your images into multiple parts, then re-assemblesthem using CSS and tables. The resulting images will display exactly like your originals, but cannotbe saved as complete image files. You can choose to split and protect all images, or limit it by image dimension (e.g only large images) and file type. In addition, the program also inserts Java Script to prevent the user from using the PrintScreen or Print command. Your original HTML files and images are kept in a backup container, and can be restored anytime. Web Image Protector can be very effective to prevent casual image theft, however a determined user will still be able to copy anythingthat is displayed on the screen by using a screen capture software, which of course involves a lot more effort. |
