CryptoMite is a fast and very easy-to-use program which enables you to encrypt, decrypt, and wipe files and folders of any type. The program adds a context menu entry to all files, folders, and driveswhich lets you encode/decode/wipe them with right-click ease. CryptoMite supports building self-decrypting compressed exe-files, so you can send your encrypted files via email in a manner that allowsthe recipient to decrypt the files without having installed the program. All that is needed is thepassword used for the encryption; the decrypting and decompressing engine is encapsulated inside thearchive. Encrypted files can be automatically emailed, using your regular email program or the built in SMTP mailer. Additional features include support for skinned (encrypted) archives and a securefile shredder. |
