AdIEFiltr allows you to disable pop-up windows and advertising banners in Internet Explorer. In addition, the program allows you to completely block access to certain sites that you keep on a black list or you can also limit browser use to only a list of specified sites - for example, limit internetuse for employees to a few sites that you consider work related, or only let your kids surf the sites that you specify etc. Both, the ad blocking and access restrictions can be run on a schedule based on the time of day. AdIEFiltr also enables you to password protect Internet explorer, so it can only be used if the correct password is entered upon start. |
