GFI Network Server Monitor automatically monitors specified networks and servers for failures and alerts the administrator via email, SMS, pager or Net Send message. In addition, it can automaticallyperform actions such as rebooting a machine, restarting a service or running a script. The program runs as a service and provides an administrative interface (client) that can be run from any machineon the network. Built-in monitoring rules include Exchange Server 2000/2003, MS SQL, Oracle and ODBCdatabases, CPU usage, FTP, HTTP, Active Directory, Disk Space, Event Log (with content checking) and many others. Advanced users can also write custom monitor functions in VBscript and leverage ADSIand WMI, allowing you to monitor virtually anything. |
