About Trailgauge, This is a GPS-mapping package for planning and measuring your hiking, biking or running routes. It automatically downloads USGS Quads and aerial photographs and can also use map images from other Internet map sites, scanned paper maps, or can even generate your own topo maps from SRTM height data. The program overlays height data to give you full 3D mapping functions including real-time renderingand fly-throughs. The built-in database stores all of your routes and waypoints and allows you to query them in any way you wish. Publish your route descriptions to HTML pages ready for upload to yourWeb site. |
