CamTrack is a handy add-on for your web cam, that adds automatic face tracking capabilities, as wellas some other cool features. The face tracking work with any webcam and does not require any specific hardware. It uses a pan and zoom approach that is very effective to track your face and keep it centered, when moving within the normal range of motion (while sitting in front of the camera). In addition, the program allows you to insert various animations and frames into the webcam stream, thatcan add speech bubbles, text overlays, emoticons, and even make you look like an astronaut floatingin outer space (well, sort of). CamTrack runs in the system tray and automatically kicks in whenever you use your webcam. Despite the poorly designed interface, CamTrack is a fun and useful tool thatwill make a nice add-on for any frequent webcam users. CamTrack works with most USB webcams and iscompatible with virtually all available video chat applications, including Skype, Trillian, MSN andmany others. |
