About Doctor Aquarium, This is an aquarium automation assistant that monitors the health of your aquarium and takes actionsto keep it healthy. It works with standard X10 home automation modules, and can measure pH, temperature, light levels, sound levels, voltage, resistance and parameters using a DAQ board. The programprovides e-mail alerts, and a Web interface that lets you monitor you aquarium over the Internet. DrAquarium's built-in scripting language let's you define any control logic. The built-in task wizardwill help you teach the program how to perform tasks with out programming. Doctor Aquarium is designed to be open and modular, so that anyone can create and share plugins and scripts. Using X10 technology the program can turn on lights, pumps, heaters, power heads, and can be used to simulate lunarand solar cycles, and natural water motion. An example plugin is provided with full source allowingcustom DIY plugin development to interface to new hardware devices or to add new features. Doctor aquarium supports multiple aquariums, and can be used as a controller for marine salt water reef aquariums, fresh water aquariums, terrariums, vivaria, vivariums, nano, and other types of fish tanks and pet enclosures, and can be used for water quality analysis for hydroponics and aquaculture. |
