Add Contacts is a Microsoft Outlook add-in that enables you to automatically add e-mail addresses tothe Contacts folder when you reply to a message and/or send a new message. It comes with a featurethat attempts to extract the name for the contact as well (based on salutation), and you can specifya custom Contacts folder as well, allowing you to keep the auto-added names separate from your mainaddress book. If you keep your sent messages in the Sent folder, the program can process all of them retroactively. Add Contacts tightly integrates with Outlook and there are no additional steps to take or buttons to click. (Note: Outlook 2000 already includes a similar feature, but later versionsdo not) |
