Universal Shield is a file protection and encryption tool, that enables you to encrypt or hide files, folders, drives and set additional access rules for each item. It offers 9 encryption algorithms including Blowfish, Triple-DES, Rijndael and others to choose from and a wizard can guide you througheach protection project. Additional features include an option to configure Trusted Processes (programs that will always be able to access protected files), hiding files by wildcard (e.g *.mpeg) anda few option to limit access to system folders. You can quickly toggle the protection for all objects by clicking the Unlock button in the (password protected) interface. |
