Advances inspace technology allow trade from one galaxy to the next and a new class of merchants is born - theIntergalactic Traders. You used to be a programmer/analyst at a medium-sized dot-com company. The company went bust when it was discovered that they were using questionable accounting practices to inflate their almost non-existent earnings for the last decade. Your retirement savings now gone (it was all in the company's stock), you decide to go into business for yourself.
