About 1939 - BattleFleet, This is an extension of the classic Battleship game. Ships can move and they have radar. There are over 60 missions, campaigns and death-match scenarios. Battlefield maps can be up to 96 squares by 96squares. It includes 30 ship types, four submarine types, five airplane types and three port artillery types. You can also purchase new ships and planes during the course of the game. The map contains land, islands, and minor and major ports. Your goal is to conquer all enemy major ports, defend your ports, destroy enemy ships and secure your transport convoy to a friendly port. All ship and submarine names are historic World War II names. Commission and non-commission officer ranks are taken from original World War II military lists. |
