About Deskman Standard Edition, Deskman SE is a tool to restrict access to your desktop, as well as system functionalities, InternetExplorer options and more. You can also hide drives, disable common keyboard commands, hide the Start menu, block new auto-run programs and inspect current startup files. Furthermore, Deskman SE allows you to lock and password protect your desktop. I found that the small, non-resizable interface and the lack of feature specific hints makes the program difficult to use and navigate. Nonetheless, it does a good job in restricting access to selected areas of your system. |
