About SpyStopper Pro, SpyStopper can block intrusive spyware, Web bugs, worms, cookies, advertisements, and scripts by filtering and redirecting HTTP requests. It uses the Windows HOSTS file to redirect any suspicious connections to a "dead end" and also block known malware ActiveX controls from being installed. You can add or remove entries from the filter list and also temporarily disable the program. An optional beep can be heard each time SpyStopper blocks an object. |
